I've just recently watched sleepless in seattle again. The only difference between that movie and a bucket of poop, is the bucket.
MAN POORS POOP ON A TABLE AT A CITY COUNCIL MEETING!
A Delta man was in jail Tuesday for publicly dumping a five-gallon bucket of piss and shit on city council members to protest alleged sewer problems.

Michael Joseph Murphy, 42, was upset that city leaders have not taken steps to fix a problem with his sewer line, officials said. Now I am sure he was upset about his sewer line not getting fixed as quickly as he wanted, well, I am pretty sure now that sewer line isn’t ever getting fixed.

He walked into the council meeting Monday night and dropped the human waste on a table where council members were sitting. The foul protest splattered onto a handful of city officials sitting around the table and triggered immediate health concerns.

"It hit everybody," City Clerk Lourena Schrader said. "It was a mess."

Keokuk County sheriff's officials charged Murphy with improper disposal of hazardous waste, criminal mischief and one count of assault for each person splattered.

Sheriff's officials advised those splattered to be tested for hepatitis.

"If I had a cut or something, I would get checked out," Sheriff Ron George said Tuesday.

Officials from the Iowa Department of Public Health said it is unlikely that anyone would become infected from the incident.

Schrader said Murphy was upset because his sewer system was plugged. Schrader said city officials could do nothing because it was in his section of the line. "There is nothing we can do," she said, adding that no other residents are having sewer troubles.

Nearly a month ago, Schrader said, she found what appeared to be human feces at the door of her residence. She suspected the mess was in retaliation for earlier council decisions. She reported the incident to sheriff's officials but no arrest was made, Schrader said.

Murphy could not be reached for comment. Jailers refused to relay telephone messages to him. Bail was expected to be set Tuesday night. If convicted on all charges, Murphy would face up to three years in prison.

I thought this was a cool story so I thought I would share it with you.
